This week's project.
I understand the sound player has been off and on recently. I've been updating some revised vesions of previously uploaded songs as well as adding some recently recorded material. I usually avoid posting non-original material to avoid any copyright infringements, however, I've decided to share a few of the recordings from the DannoLemmon quartet that we've made to promote the band for live performances.
The "Hazel Crest" recording is better now, but I did run into a few problems with this project when we switched from PC to MAC recently. I may have to start from scratch on this one. Anyway, it's better than the last version.
The "Number Nine Blacktop " song is almost ready for prime time. I recorded my Uncle Kenny's mandolin track on location in West Frankfort (yes, at his home out on the Number Nine Blacktop).
The "Grass Song" was victim to the computer switch also. We may add some percussion, otherwise this is probably the best we'll get from the basic tracks we were left with.
Well, just trying to learn a little more each day about making the recordings and should have more time to work on new songs now.
Musicians, feel free to send your projects to me via the contacts tab if you care to share.
I'll keep updating the recordings as I go. Feedback is appreciated - especially Specific suggestions for improvement. Thanks for those who have offered suggestions and encouragement.
